The Opportunity Do you love being where the action is? As an Expo, you are the final checkpoint for our kitchen, ensuring every plate looks perfect before it goes to the table. You are the "air traffic controller" of the restaurant—balancing the speed of the kitchen with the needs of our servers. If you are highly organized and a quick learner, we will train you to lead the flow of our upscale restaurant.
What We’re Looking For
Focus: The ability to keep track of multiple tickets and tables at once without breaking a sweat.
Clear Communication: You aren't afraid to speak up, "call" orders to the chefs, and keep the front-of-house team moving.
Detail-Oriented: You naturally notice the small things—a missing side, a garnish out of place, or a smudged plate—that make a meal look great.

The Day-to-Day
Quality Control: Inspect every dish for accuracy, temperature, and presentation before it leaves the kitchen.
The Bridge: Communicate clearly between the Servers and the Kitchen to ensure timing is perfect for every course.
Final Touches: Assist with final plating details (garnishes, sauces, wiping plate rims) and ensuring all necessary condiments are ready.
Physical Requirements: This role requires standing for long periods and the ability to move quickly in a high-temperature kitchen environment.

The Opportunity Are you outgoing, detail-oriented, and looking for a lucrative position at the premier spot on Lake Nokomis? Bootleggers is looking for new faces to join our bar team! While we are an upscale venue, prior experience is not essential. Some of our best bartenders started with zero experience and were trained right here. If you have a great personality and a strong work ethic, we will teach you the rest.
What We’re Looking For
Self-Motivated: You don’t wait to be told what to do; you see a glass that needs polishing or a guest who needs a refill and you jump in.
Willingness to Learn: You’re excited to master upscale service, craft cocktails, and the art of Northwoods hospitality.
Creativity: You enjoy experimenting with ingredients and helping guests find their new favorite drink.
Requirements: Must be 18+ and able to obtain a Wisconsin Responsible Beverage Server License.
The Day-to-Day
Provide a high standard of service while ensuring all guests are of legal drinking age.
Operate the POS system, maintain balanced cash registers, and manage guest tabs with precision.
Keep the bar "battle-ready" by stocking ice, glassware, and product throughout the shift.
Physical Requirements: This is an active role; you must be able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs (kegs and ice bins are no joke!).
Availability: Weekend availability is required, as that’s when the magic—and the best tips—happen.

Our rooms are a key part of the "Bootleggers experience," especially for wedding parties and weekend travelers. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently and have a sharp eye for the small details that make a room feel upscale and inviting.No prior professional housekeeping experience is required. If you are thorough, reliable, and take pride in your work, we will gladly train you on our specific standards.
What You’ll Do:
Room Turnovers: Efficiently clean and reset guest rooms between bookings (bed linens, towels, dusting, and vacuuming).
Attention to Detail: Ensure each room meets our "upscale lodge" standards—from perfectly tucked linens to a spotless bathroom.
Restocking: Manage supplies and amenities to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
Stewardship: Maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the lodge's common upstairs areas.
What We’re Looking For:
Reliability: You are someone we can count on to show up and get the job done on schedule.
Physical Stamina: You are comfortable being on your feet and handling the physical aspects of cleaning (lifting linens, stairs, etc.).
Independence: You work well without constant supervision and can manage your time effectively.
A High Standard: You notice the little things and aren’t satisfied until the room is perfect.
